So, it's official folks. I am more awesome than I was. How, you wonder, is that possible? Well...because Micah said so. He had put in Iron Man and started to watch it...then I asked if he had Spider Man and he said yes...then when I said "Hmmm, I'd rather watch that." He gave me this excited, shocked look and jumped up singing, "Annna is now awwwwsome!" Then he looks back and says, "Oh...uh...I mean...you were already awesome. But...now you are just more awesome!" Haha...my brother is such and awesome dude. :P So, Spider Man it was...even if I hardly watched it. :P Gotta bunch of reading to do...no complaining there!
And I got to spend the better part of a whole day with him. :D Brotha and Sista (and Sadie), left to our own mischief while parents took the three smallest minions to Star Chasers (mounted drill team practice) in Florida and Em is at work. Jakie-Bug has gone to spend the day with his Mommy and sister in the hospital and Tina decided to keep him with her tonight too. *sniff* So...well...we'll just say that I am having Jakie-Bug withdrawal right now. :P But I'm glad he gets to be with his Mommy, of course. :)
The meal for lunch at church tomorrow was pretty easy...so I got that done Micah and I hung out. I tried to do some reading...but I had such a hard time focusing today. Which means I'm behind...which is totally fine. Because I'll just catch up. Doi. :P
Anyhooo...we had a nice surprise...Em, Micah and I went to town after Em got back from work and we ended up meeting Grandma and her guests for dinner. My great uncle and great aunt are down visiting. It was so awesome seeing Uncle John again and I met Aunt Carol for the first time. I was very excited and it was really, really nice. And...as always! I was excited to see Grandma (I have the coolest Granny. 8-) )
Right now...I'm in the den with the three little girls watching Little House on the Prairie, Micah is in his room (probably working on our movie) and Fatha and Motha are in their room.
Church is tomorrow...I'm really looking forward to it. It's been another long week...but this week has seemed especially long. So, church will be nice. :) Maybe I'll take PJ and get some pix of mah little girls too. Thy're all sooooo cute. :D
Anyways...boy am I rambling tonight! Sorry 'bout that. :P
Hope y'all had a wonderful day! Hope you're having a super evening and rest well tonight!
And! Hope you have a wonderful, blessed Lord's day tomorrow. Remember to smile and shine for Christ...no matter where you are. :D
First, after we saw the family off, Micah and I got to work on the list Mumzy left for us to get done.
Cleaning up the bookshelves...such a good brotha.
*happy sigh*
Then, we watched some movies...or...Micah watched the movie while I tried to keep up with it and read...and ended up thinking more than anything. :P
But, I managed to throw some sandwiches together...Sadie wanted them.
What is wrong with people these days? I mean...taking perfectly good oreos and changing them? Well, they tasted pretty good...but chocolate and creme are the best. Only dipped in milk. Otherwise, all oreos are nasty. Yep. I mean...y'know...IMHO.
And off to town we go! We went to just a few stores...Lifeway, of course. :D Micah needed to go to the office store...so he and Em went there and I ran into Lifeway...got me another new album. Always make me happeh. (Well, most of the time. :P)
Emily Lynn. :D
And yes...I am posting a picture that was taken with... S-S-Siri...
Driving down the road...if Elvis looks like me...this is what he would look like.
Micah and Uncle John. :D
The group
Something kinda interesting...lately I keep noticing how beautiful the clouds are. Doesn't that sound kind of funny? People are always complaining about the clouds....but I've seen so many lately that are so beautiful. And all of them had the sun shining through them. You didn't really notice how pretty the sunlight was unless it was behind a cloud. That's kinda reminds me of life right now.
Whenever I see streams of light coming through clouds it always makes me think of when Christ returns for some reason.
And I asked Daddy to email a few pictures from Star Chasers with his phone. Here's Miss Tammy in the front. She so neat.
Abby-Dabby-Doo
And Noami and Bear
The album I got was by Mandisa. I really don't care to much for most of the female vocalist in softer Christian music...but I really do like a lot of Mandisa (and this album came with the sound of TobyMac on it...woooop! :D ). Here's a song on the album...I'd heard it a while ago...but it's such a good song. I love it. It's so encouraging and at certain times can pull you through if you blare it loud enough. :P (And I love the picture used in this lyrics video.)
And this one is really good...not typical Mandisa, but the lyrics are great. And pretty hard to swallow for some reason. :P
Well, I had NO time to take pictures today...but I did listen to a lot of music. 8-) Thought I'd post a few of my favs that I listened to recently. I may have posted a couple of them before, but oh well...they're still awesome. 8-)
Hope y'all had a super day! :) Lots to smile about, yes? Yes...lots. God is soooo good. He shines brightest in contrast to the dark to0. Kinda like the stars are brightest against the darkest sky. Or something.
Anyhoo...y'all have a great day tomorrow! Remember to smile and shine for Christ, no matter where you are! :D
This is a pretty new fav...I love, love it. (Even if not every bit of it makes sense...I think it's one of those songs that can mean something different to everyone who listens to it. I love those songs.)
Oh, and I listened to my new Newsboys album. Best worship album I have, for sure. 8-) (But I like my other newsboys album more. :P )
Well! Looks like I'll be busy, busy today! :D Turns out that Tina had to take Bonnie somewhere and so Jakie bug ended up spending the night here. I took care of him out in the den. I don't say I slept in the den with him because I try to tell the truth. And to say that I slept would not be the truth. :P How can a sleeping little boy keep you awake? 0.0 I guess by...crying because he's lonely at two in the morning and you simply can't resist holding him. Or because he needs more milk. Or because he doesn't want to sleep in the play pen and would rather sleep on the couch. ...that and maybe some other reasons. :P
But! He is here and we are happy to have him. ^_^ I expect I'll be taking care of him again today...and trying to figure out how to do my deep cleaning chores and help get ready for tomorrow and maybe get a meal together for Sunday. I like to keep busy. *nod*
Jakie bug is coloring right now...and looking adorable. He has already dragged me outside to chase a ball around, help him water the ferns (that he was so sure must be watered) and to get me sprayed with water. :/ :P (While Jacob is still quite dry. Da stinker! I tell you...I'm starting...starting to possibly understand what people mean when they talk about the ways of Children. Not *cough* that it's like I've never been around kids before. :P There have kinda been a few of those around here.)
Anyhoo! Hope y'all have an awesome day! :) I may post more again tonight...for now...I think I'll go get some coffee. Yeaaaah.
Well, today we had the kiddos! I watched Jakie bug and Lydia took care of Bonnie. Not a whole lot to say about it...I didn't start school with Jacob yet. I think we need to wait till we have something of a routine...so probably next week. I can't wait to start. :D
Other than that, not much happened today, except that Em and I ran to town (yay!). I went to Lifeway and picked up so many albums I wanted...but I put all but one back. :P So, I got an album and a karaoke CD. Oh!!! And Lifeway is doing some rearranging in the store...and they have a new feature. :D :D You can select a karaoke track you want on a computer and they will burn it right there for you! Great...cuz I need to spend more money and this makes it so much easier *headpole*. :P
Anyhoo! Hope y'all had a great day and are having a wonderful evening and have good rest tonight. :)
And! Hope y'all have a wonderful, wonderful day tomorrow filled with lots of smiles, epic thoughts and shining for Christ. :D
Later, folkses! SMILE!
He grabbed the dollhouse camper and started riding around on it. The crazy thing is....I used to do that with the very same toy. 0.0 And I remember doing it. Time kinda flies. :P
He quotes the movie "Cars" as he watches it. :P
Puuuuppy eyes!
Pretty Bonnie
"Ooooh, Auntie! Don't you dare turn your back on me! I'll be into something before you can think to turn around. Mwahahahaha."
Everyone else went outside and did their tie dye shirts.
Jacob wondered why on earth everyone was messing their shirts up on purpose when he is told so much to keep his clean!
Oookay...he wanted a hat. So I picked one out for him. Yes, it's blinged. I can't believe how this picture turned out. He was looking at the shiny brim of his hat...talk about a face. :P
"Waz up, y'all?"
Then he slammed it on my head. :P
This is what happens when you listen to TobyMac with your nephew there. :P
Soooo cute.
Ahhh, good ol' home town. I love it so much. We saw this really cool, old green truck at this intersection.
*grins* I can't wait to get back to my room for the night.... :D :D :D :D That's mah new album on my stack of other albums.
Well, I am trying to upload pix from today...but the computer is SO slow right now and I have stuff to do right now. :P So! Those later.
For now, though...I thought I'd share one of my FAVORITE songs with ya. :D It's such an awesome song. And so encouraging and happy. 8-) I love happy things. And that's a good thing...because life is simply FULL of happy things. Isn't it?
Anyhoo...y'all have a great day tomorrow! Rmember to smile and shine for Christ...no matter where you are! And y'all? Remember... Life is soooo beautiful! :) Because God is sooo good. It's really overwhelming when you think about how good He is. Makes me smile. Lots to smile about right? Right. :D
You know garden work isn't half bad if you can ignore the heat and have music to listen to. I found this out today. I listened to a bunch of music...Newsboys, a tiny bit of Owl City, Eleventyseven, etc. And...of course I listened to Relient K. 8-) It was funny...it was so hot, sweat was dripping off my face and it was still pretty overcast...and you know the song I kept listening to? One about perfect weather! :P Kinda funny, I think. Anyhoo...what is this song? Well...I have probably posted it before. I really can't remember. But, it's so epic that posting it again wouldn't do anyone a bit of harm. And who knows? Maybe it could do some good. All I can do is try. Yes?
So...here's the song. Hope you enjoy and hope y'all are having a great day with lots of smiling and epicness. :)
In the words of Gladiator, Strength and Honor. See ya.
Remember to smile and shine for Christ...no matter where you are! :)
WOAH! I just saw that this is my 75th post on here...how awesome, ironic and epic is that? I didn't realize it when I went to post this song. Huh...epic overdrive right there.
Well, today was Sunday (yes, it was) and just Em, Micah and I went to church today while the rest of the family spent some time resting at home.
We had a really nice time at church and then came home to find that Dad and Lydia had gone shopping! They went to get the stuff for a fancy sandwich dinner (oh, boy..now I've got Julian Smith as Mr. Timn in my head. :P ). So, Dad and I made some sandwiches and we settled down to watch some Psych while Dad and Mom dined in their room together.
Then! We had unexpected pleasure of a visit from that special person we all know and love...that's right folks, Jakie-Bug. :D It seems that he is in my care right now, so I've got the pack'n'play set up in my room right now and he's laying down trying NOT to go to sleep while he drinks his milk and we both enjoy my new TAN album. 8-) He seems to like it...this boy's got some good taste. *nod* Anyways, not sure if I'll get to keep him for the whole night or not, but I am thoroughly enjoying my time with him. :) He's such a precious little boy. It was so cute...I was trying to get him to sleep by walking around talking to him and it was working for a bit..then he spotted something and kept pointing and saying something that I couldn't understand so I walked over to where he was pointing and he wanted an orange! So I peeled and cut it...and then scrubbed my hands and am just hoping I got all the juice off of my hands. :P I haven't handled an orange in I don't know how long...but I couldn't resist that face. :P
Anyhoo, now he has gotten all comfortable, arranged the pillow I gave him, and tucked himself down under the covers and is slowly drifting to sleep. I'm trying to think of what is a more precious site than a baby or little kid sleeping. Hmmm, I really can't think of anything.
Okay, so before I go on and on. :P Hope y'all had a wonderful Lord's day and are smiling! :) So much to smile about. Isn't it beautiful how you can see the beautiful things in life so much clearer when they are next to the not so beautiful things? The contrast is stronger and I guess it makes the beautiful things all the more beautiful and important and valued.
Anyhoo, y'all have a wonderful day tomorrow! Remember to shine for Christ no matter where you are. :)
Oh, yeah. Last night was so pretty and the sky was so clear. So I went and laid outside for a bit. (Do I sound totally strange? :P )
I kept trying to get good pictures through the grass, but it wouldn't work. :P
Oh, and apparently it was a blue moon too.
Ah, yes! Now to today...as I said, Dad and I made the dinner for everyone...so I handed PJ over to Lyida some to get some pictures since I was busy.
Cutie-batooty Abby-Dabby-Doo. :D
The Minions decided to help us by going swimming. Here's Abs in her totally cool floaty suit. 8-)
"Oh, I just love cleaning out peppers! Don't you?"
Onions. Nasty things. I mean...really...who's idea was it to eat these in the first place? Can you imagine it? A guy pulls up a weed, sees some ugly, dirt covered, round object that makes you cry when you smell it and thinks, "Hmmm, what could this be good for? I know! We'll EAT it!" ... don't get me wrong...they taste great. :P
I ran out to get a couple pictures of the Minions in the pool. Dad's been having some trouble with the water, but it's getting better. :D
Micah...she's coming for you. That's a hint to MOVE. 0.0
"What do you MEAN, dinner isn't ready yet?"
"Oh, well if you're going as fast as you can..."
Peppers and onions. Good stuff.
We have this handy dandy meat slicer...
But Dad had me do it old school. :P
And it took a bit...but that was some good meat. *nods*
Daddy working his skills on the meat and peppers and onions. He's so good at cooking. Seriously.
Lydia making the best part of the whole meal...the french fries!
And Dad...he can't let anything go in the oven without putting seasoning of some kind on it. 8-)
Em was trying to get a picture of just my eyes. 0.0 But I had PJ's settings on manual and she took the picture without setting the lighting. I thought it looks kinda...eh...spooky. :P Or just plain strange.
In the profound words of Jeff from Food Network..."That's a sandwich, people."
This is Abby raising her glass to declare a toast. This kid is so crazy and awesome.
"I'm eating, Anna. Take PJ and his snapping elsewhere."
A rather contented brotha.
MMMMMMMMM
And here's the kiddo! :D He was playing with Sadie under the chair.
And he was moving around sooo much when he first got here that it was hard to get a picture of him. :P
And the sun goes down on another beautiful, epic day. :)
Well, it's only taken me about two hours to get this post done since I've been taking care of Jakie and doing other stuff in between. :P Little Jacob is now completely asleep. And he's. so. cute. *Pulls out PJ*
SMILE Y'ALL! :D
And remember! *inserts epicness* :D

I'm trying to keep up with blogging...and when I say I'll do it once a week, that doesn't seem to work. :P So, we'll see how often I actually blog now that we are back from vacation and getting back into the normal swing of things.
Mom is going to be doing the new year's school party sometime soon...and this will be my first year not being a student. 0.0 Sheesh, that makes me feel...not really that old as just...hmmm...IDK. :P Just is funny to think about. Now I've got a million memories of all the school parties and how exciting it was to get new books and a fresh year...heh...that's crazy that those days are over for good now.
Whew! Anyways...I feel that I should probably apologize for the incredible craziness of my post yesterday. I understand that it probably didn't make any sense to hardly anyone. So...to those of you it didn't make sense to...sorry 'bout that. :P Didn't mean to give you a headache. :P If it did make sense to anyone...well, hope you can still grin about it. lol.
Anyhoo...so that I don't start rambling too awful much, I thought I'd post my new favorite softer songs from these days. A couple are from my new TAN album and a couple are from Josh Wilson. I don't have any of his albums. But I want them. So. Bad. 0.0 :P *shakes head* I really don't need to want any more albums right now. But I do. *sigh*
Anyhoo...here's a few songs. Hope you enjoy. :) Hope y'all are having a really great day with lots of happy things to fill your mind and make you smile. :) God is so good. Something that's not hard to remember when you think about the right things...yes? :)
Oh, and just a note...I haven't watched all of these vids...but I think they should be safe. ;)
~.~.~.~.~.
This song makes me think of a word that I'm rather fond of. Hope.
Just really listened to this one for the first time today...it's a beautiful song. And the truth is...God does do all that the chorus asks for.
I get chills listening to this one. The message is so beautiful.
This one hit me like a ton of bricks when I first listened to it this past Thursday.
I love his guitar playing. An instrumental of one of my favorite hymns ever.
