And so we resume...

I'm going to try to keep up the blog again. At least for the next few months. We'll see how this goes!
Today is Emily's birthday and I shall be blogging that very soon, Lord willing. (I don't have anything to blog from that yet, though. :P)
For now...I'll just start blogging from last Friday when I went down to the beach with the Kings. It was one of the best days and it'd been a long time since I'd been to the beach. I was very thankful that they invited me and enjoyed every minute of the trip. :)

I don't seem to have too much more to say...so onto pictures we go! (And I am now using Oscar the iPhone instead of PJ=RIP.)

Headed down...we crossed over a bridge of some kind. It was cool. It  was an hour and a half to two hour ride, I think...I wasn't paying much attention to the time. :P

"Dost thou dare take my photograph without first offering to pay a royalty?"
(Yeah...sorry...but doesn't that look like what he's thinking? :P )

*laughs* it was...48 degrees I believe and, as you can see, Hannah is all ready to go play at the beach. :P

Headed down to the water.

The kids played Frisbee and I don't know how that worked with ALL that wind. (Awesome wind.)

Makes me think of one of my favorite songs ever...

Some of the crew made sand castles and things. Benjamin "made his face" by building up a mound and planting his face in it, then pulling it out to make his faceprint. I thought I had a picture of that! His whole face was covered in sand. :P Isaac was very meticulous about his creation, but I never saw what he was making...

Eli and I really enjoyed getting to spend time together.

I love the water...so pretty.

The Mr. and Mrs. King

There were tons of birds this time...should have gotten a better picture of them.

The Mr. and Mrs. King and mahself

And a picture of all of us except Eli...you can't see him, but he's there...behind the camera.

After we went to the beach and drove around a bit, we  went to lunch. I told Mom that I would bring her back a shark from the beach, but this was the best I could do and they wouldn't let me take him home for her. :( Sorry Mommy. :( Some of us had started coming up with names for him...but we never decided. I suppose we'll have to go with Oscar.
Eli and me at lunch.

Micah enjoying his beverage. Such and awesome dude. 8-)

Yeah...I'm doing it again. Taking pictures without warning. Most rude, I know...most Childish.

But, as you can see, he got so angry that I just had to stop... :P

I could make a comment right now, Noah. :P

And I really should have taken more pictures...but I was distracted and enjoying myself too much to spend any time using electronics except to send a "sit-rep" text to mother dearest every now and then, of course. :P
It was such a beautiful day and I'm really thankful that I got to go and spend some time with the Kings and build such beautiful memories. :)

Until later! Y'all keep smiling and shining for Christ. :)
Over and out...

Anna

  2. Anna,
It was a beautiful day! It was just perfect with you there too and we are so glad you came. I'm going to start a campaign for a repeat trip this summer. We might have to get creative though on where we go, or just buy blinders for everyone :)

You got some great shots - I love the two you got of Eli in the restaurant. And, I did hear of the demise of PJ a while back. So sorry :( But Oscar seems to be doing just great for you.

Looking forward to seeing more on your blog.
